He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Myrtle (Gloria); his son Leslie; his siblings, Ernest, Cecil (Jean) and Evelyn Jones; and his brother-in-law Arnold Hampton.
He is survived by: his sister Ruby Hampton; his brother-in-law Reed Jones; his nephews, Charles (Ann), David and Clifford (Cheryl); his niece Janet Shuster (Bud); his daughter-in-law Rosangela; his grandchildren, Scott Giddens, Gloria Ward, Christopher Long and Amanda Long; his great grandchildren, Joshua Wickware, Thomas Ward, Christopher "Topher" Long, Clifford "Cliff" Long, Steven Adame and Xander Parker; and his great great grandchild Brantley Wickware. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
