He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Frank and Margaret Inez Shannon; his brother Joe Wayne Shannon; and his son-in-law William Vaughan Headley, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Cherryl Waldron Shannon; his children, Keri Shannon Headley of Jesup, GA. and Steven Frank Shannon of Orange Park, FL; his sister Peggy Shannon Day (Bill); his grandchildren, Jonathan, William, Ashley, Andrew, Robert and Rilie; and his great grandchild Jordan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
