He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvan Edgar "Morg" Hammon and Nora Belle Sutton; and his siblings, Orvan "Junior" Hammon and Lynn Hammon Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Sandra M. Hammon; his daughters, Lorinda McKinney (Paul), Kara Paniccia (Domenic) and Cynthia Cory; his sister Nancy Lynch; his grandchildren, Ryan McKinney (Courtney), Joshua Trickett, Rachel McKinney (Hunter Pool), Natalie Lewis (Brantley), Haylea Nichols (Tanner Peery), Holt Cory and Reid Cory; and his great grandchildren, Madix, Broox, Mykenna, Kohen, Mille and Barrett.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Middleburg (2645 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32065). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
