He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Spiaggi and Marvin McGuire. He is survived by: his brothers, Tim, Michele McGuire, Rick and Jan McGuire; and his son Matt (Lisa McGuire).

Among the many charities he donated to, he enjoyed collecting guns, shooting sports and hanging out with his friends at CHEERS and LOCALS.
