He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Butler and Irma Crowder; his brother Jimmy Gibson (Luther Gene Gibson); and his wife Shirley DeLoach Butler. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Butler, Stacy Pallitto (Nick) and Chip Butler; his grandchildren, Nick Pallitto, Amanda Murrhee, Savannah Saari, Cody Butler (Hannah) and Ryan Butler; his great grandchildren, Ashton Murrhee, Veda Pallitto and Deklyn Butler; and his siblings, Rita Slater and Ronnie Gibson.
