He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Browley Span; his sons, Terrance L. Hamilton, Tyrone A. Span (Juli) and Mario D. Span; his mother Ola M. Span; his siblings, Ola M. Browley, Terry Span (Carrie), Keith Span and Rev. Leon Span; and his close friend Ferdinand Meyers (Bernice). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
