She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Teston and Lottie Teston (Mizell); her husband Lucious Kennedy; her son Paul C. Armstrong, Jr.; her brothers, L. Glenn Teston and Jesse Newton Teston; and her stepdaughter Maureen Chambers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra A. Byerly (Mike), Alicia A. Wilson (Mike) and Kimberly A. Armstrong (Lexa); her sisters, Harolyn Deck and Jacquelyn Hand; and her stepchildren, Jim Kennedy (Bonnie), Sharon Burnett and Kenneth Kennedy (Debbie). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
