He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, JoAnn Godfrey (Kersey) and Benny B. Godfrey; his sister Lisa Goodroe; his wife Pam; his children, Shana Walker and Mike Godfrey (Helena); and his grandchildren, Jacob Walker, Alexis "Lexi" Walker and Isabella "Bella" Godfrey.
