He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Yeary and Mossie Yeary (Moyers); his wife Jewell Yeary (McBee); his siblings-in-law, Arlie McBee and Geneva Keck; and his nephews, Greg McBee and Patrick McBee.

He is survived by: his son David Yeary (Stephen Kay) of Bowling Green, OH; his sister-in-law Wanda Hayes of Jacksonville, FL; his nieces, Arlene Willis of Jacksonville, FL and Joan Stinson (Larry) of Townville, SC; and his nephew Bill McBee (Denese) of Sun City, CA..
