He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Amodeo and Rosa Amodeo (Guiffre); and his brothers, Tony, Santo and Jimmy.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Joseph Amodeo (Amy) of Orange City, FL, John Amodeo (Stacy) of Dayton, OH, Patti Julius (Tom) of Charlotte, NC and Tammie Amodeo of Freeport; and his sister Rosalie Storm of McHenry, IL. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
