He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Putney and John Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Vernita; his children, Teddy Edwards, Christopher Edwards of Ohio and Alisha; his son-in-law Jason Conner; his son Edward Dean of California; his grandchildren, Jason Lee, Christopher Ted, Johnathan Jake Conner (Erika Goldberg), Tayor (Tessa Edwards) and Olivia (Davina Edwards); and his brother Ricky Edwards.
