He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul May and Vera May; his siblings, Thomas May, Richard May and Karen May; and his grandson Georgi Loftis.

He is survived by: his wife Laura May; his children, Andrew Georgi (Lisa) of Hebron, Curt May (Terry Lebaron) of Ormond Beach, Florida, Tammy May of Orange City and Terri Cetera (Greg Cetera) of Daytona Beach, Florida.; his grandchildren, Russell Loftis, AJ Georgi, Melanie Georgi, Peter May, Ashlynn Sanchez (Anthony Sanchez) and Makayla Cetera (Grant Delp); his great grandchild Lilliana May Sanchez; and his sister Sharon Beyers.
