She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Sammons and Erma Sammons (Miller); her husband David W. Meyer; her siblings, Joe and Helen; and her son-in-law David Galisin.

She is survived by: her siblings, Fred, Noah, Ralph Sammons, Kay Davis, Margie Combs, Garnet Waldforgel, Sue Brahnam and Sherry Nolen; her children, Jerry Meyer (Earlene) and Sheryl Galisin; and her grandchildren, Melissa Prince, Martha Zastiak (Joshua) and Jonathan Galisin. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
