He was predeceased by: his wife Janet L. Spear; his parents, Elvin L. Spear and Florence B. Spear; his son Jackie Spear; and his children-in-law, Mike Hand and Georgia Spear.
He is survived by: his children, Jay Spear (Andera) of Sarasota, Jim Spear (Janet) of Tulsa, OK. and Jody Hand of Ona. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
