He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Sigvartsen and Herbert Sigvartsen of Dunedin. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Royo (Marti) and Carl Sigvartsen; his daughter Christie Murray; his extended family, Marivik Muscalino and Dan Hibeln; and his daughter-in-law Tarren. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites friends to a future gathering at Phillipe Park to share stories of Neil, whether of fishing or a favorite Western on the screen.
