He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Bertram Thorpe and Babette Thorpe of Long Island, NY; his wife Roberta Winn; his sister Iris Vanek; his children, David Thorpe (Christine Thorpe), Dr. Michael Thorpe (Amy Cantor Thorpe), Richard Thorpe and Melissa Thorpe (Christian Dalton); and his grandchildren, Isabella, Alexia, Maxwell, Rachel, Benjamin, Leah, Leo, Nico and Dylan.
