Peterson of Old Town, Florida, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on September 1, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her son Timothy Peterson; her parents, Alfred McLaughlin and Lillian McLaughlin; and her siblings, Hal McLaughlin, Edmond Purcell and Deborah Hart.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Purcell, Deborah Casale (Jim), Judith Lynch (Robert) and Janice McLaughlin; her goddaughter Darcy Casale Tucker; her caregivers, Holly, Chris and Ruth Ann; and her close friends, Galia and Jamie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home (16984 SE Hwy 19, Cross City, FL 32628). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the UF Health Shands Pediatric Cancer Fund.
