Sommer of Old Town, Florida, born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sommer and Irma Umland; his stepfather Bob Umland; and his stepson Willard Lee Shaffer. He is survived by: his wife Lois; his sister Sally Peddle; his daughters, Melissa Gibbs (Phil), Nancy Baird and Sally Sommer; his stepsons, Bill Shaffer (Kelly), Dale Shaffer (Janis), Gary Shaffer and Wayne Shaffer (Machel); and his grandchildren, Jeff, Joe, Josh, Savanna and Justin.
