He is survived by: his children, Gary Thomsen, Jr. of Arkansas, Zak Thomsen (Delcena) of Old Town, Joshua Thomsen of Washington and Jada Yarbrough (Doug) of Arkansas; and his siblings, Danny of Minnesota, Timothy of Minnesota, David of Minnesota, Shannon of Wisconsin, Paul of Texas, Terry of Texas, Sydney Rosekan of Minnesota, Joyce Thomsen of Minnesota, Rebekah Thomsen of Minnesota and Karen Bernhard of Arkansas. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
