He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hicks; his daughters, DeAnna Haire (Tommy), Brenda Dean (Robert), Melissa Whitman (Jason) and LeAnn Stapleton (Rick); his siblings, Bobby Hicks (Carol) and Frances Knight (D. K.); and his sister-in-law Linda Hicks. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and other extended family.
