He is survived by: his children, Michael Matthews, John Matthews (Diane) and Patricia Sarkar; his sisters, Paula Condor (Jim) and Joyce Thomas (Larry); and his grandchildren, Danny Sarkar, Barbara Hobbs, Dakota Matthews and Courtney Matthews. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
