She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Gill and Susie Wood; her husband Sidney Phillips; and her sons, Calvin, Ronald and Dennis.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ethel Brown; and her siblings, Daisy Bennett, Elsworth Gill and Pau Gill. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
