It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mandy Bates in Okeechobee, Florida, who passed away on October 27, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Morgan and Jeanette Morgan (Brown); her husbands, Obie Allen and Bill Bates; her siblings, Carolyn Brown, Ruth McGill, Jo Brown Wilkie, F. M. and Jimmy Morgan; her niece Diane Morgan; and her stepsons, Bobby and Bo Bates.
She is survived by: her sister Bobbie McCormick of Rising Fawn; and her nieces and nephews, David Brown (Trenton), Joel McCormick (New Salem), Shane McCormick (Rising Fawn), Matt McGill (Red Bank), Danny Morgan (Trenton), Thlisa Ambrose (Rising Fawn) and Martha Rowell (Trenton).
In lieu of flowers, have a "Mandy dog" cooked in a Crock Pot without water, topped with mustard and slaw.
