It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Elaine Zapf of Okeechobee, Florida, born in Jamesburg, New Jersey, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert H. Strong and Eleanor Schenck Strong. She is survived by: her husband Eric; and her children, Roslyn Hontz of Hudson, FL, Donalee Bewley (Brett) of Mason, OH, Eric Michael Zapf of Okeechobee, FL and Lori Hollingsworth (Geary) of Harleysville, PA. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
