He was predeceased by: his son Sibby Yates. He is survived by: his wife Helen Boree; and his children, Kay Buffum, Elaine Powell, James E. Boree, Jr. (Jay), John Hancock, Lasha Boree, Kelly Bowman and Jeannie Tindall. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
