She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Hazellief and Carrie Thomas Hazellief; her husband Ormond Simmons; her children, Kenneth Lee and Linda Lee; and her sister Erma Lee McGee Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Archie "Buddy" Lee (Janet), Steve Lee and Melody Stroud; her sister Gertrude Padgett Thomas; and her grandchildren, Andrew, Jennifer, Lori, Kenneth Jr., Tammy, Tara, Shelly, Benjamin and Christopher. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
