She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dewey Martin Thomas, Sr.; her parents, James Earl and Lois Reagan Pearce; her children, DeNita Jan Richards (Jeff) of Clinton and Dewey Martin "Marty" Thomas, Jr. (Elizabeth Crisp) of Abbeville; her sister Brenda Fortner of Okeechobee, FL; and her grandchildren, Cortney Hightower (Nick), Katelyn Richards-Palmer (Garrett), Cody Richards, Kelsey Richards, Ryan Lewis Thomas, Kayla Cromer and Colin Crocker.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1116 NE 39th Blvd, Okeechobee, FL 34972).
