With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Gertrude Hayes (Okeechobee, Florida), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on October 19, 2018 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher Hayes; and her sister Marilyn "Lynn" Dufrense. She is survived by: her daughters, Flora-Ann "Buttons" Fox and Kimberly Jean Caron (Gary) of Maine; and her grandchildren, Brandi-Lee, Nicole, Christine and Phillip. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Okeechobee, PO Box 1548, Okeechobee, Florida 34973.
