He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Tenny and James Tenny; and his mother-in-law Marta Bautista. He is survived by: his sons, Logan and Conner; his wife Alicia (Menendez); his child Kerstin Pullen (Brian); his sisters, Suzanne Fulmer (Richard), Elissa Tenny (Peter Haratonik) and Joan Tenny; his nieces, Sarah Fulmer (Gerry O'Neal), Katya Haratonik (Daniel Haberman) and Tess Haratonik; his nephew William Fulmer; his father-in-law Luis Menendez (Francoise); his siblings-in-law, Marta Menendez Lyons (Randy) and Luis Menendez (Diane); his nephews, Joshua Lyons, Stephan Lyons and Alec Menendez; and his niece Alicia Menendez.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Steve's name to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay or the American Heart Association.
