He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Ransom, Sr. and Carrie Bell Ransom (Ellis); his brothers, George Stroud, Sr. and Ephriam Ransom, Sr.; his children, Vanessa Ransom and Terrick Ransom; his stepson Malcolm Hepburn; his grandchildren, Teddrick Dampier Otis Dampier (Tracy), Minqui Natiel (Marquise) and Kashay Natiel; his great grandchildren, Teddriyanna Dampier, Otis Dampier Jr., Teddrick Dampier Jr., Torrien Dampier, Romeo Jackson-Dampier, Xazzura Hill and Xavion Charlton; his siblings, Pauline Hall, Beta Ransom, Sophia Kelly (AL), Omega Carolyn Johnson (Arnold), Alpha Peter Ransom (Junita) and Jimmy Ransom; and his nieces and nephews, Blaine Stroud, George Stroud Jr. (Nikki), Sylvester Hall, Ephriam Ransom Jr. (Cindy), Philip Ransom, Mario Ransom, Anthony Irvin, Rennix Ransom, Labranne Matthew McQuay, David Spring, Jamie Ransom, Sharon Ransom, Valarie Ransom (Ricky), Sybil McNeil (Aaron), Alphia Ransom, Jennifer Ivory, Rennae Ransom, Raven McClure (Eric), Frances McDowell (Renzo) and Ebony Ransom.

He is survived by: his close friends, Reginald Madison, Merita Davis, Michelle Lester, Nathaniel Lowman, Dr. Rose Campbell Wesley and Mary Isom.
