Merle was predeceased by: parents, Eva Corbitt and Paul A. Corbitt. Merle is survived by: wife Betty Corbitt; daughter Leslie Fuqua (Dan Fuqua); grandson Jared Fuqua (Kathy Fuqua); siblings, Quetta Sullivan-Smith (Lon Smith), Van Corbitt, Larry Corbitt and Terry Corbitt; and sisters-in-law, Pam Corbitt, Charlene Corbitt, Judy Corbitt and Patsy Corbitt Hodges. Merle is also survived by nieces and nephews.
