We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2024, at the age of 70, Maria Olmeda of Ocoee, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Maria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Maria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fernando Rodriguez and Aida Luz Rodriguez (Alicea). She is survived by: her husband Gerardo Olmeda; her daughters, Leticia Olmeda and Melissa Olmeda; her grandchildren, Joshua Figueroa, Julian Simmons and Jayden Aviles; her great grandchildren, Jenoah and Josiah; and her pet Ginger.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home (1148 E Plant St, Winter Garden, FL 34787). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734).
