She was predeceased by: her husband Bridgenath Barlow Gobin; her siblings, Lalita Baboolal, Sugan Arjoon, Phulmatie Singh, Lalchan Jadoonanan and Indradath Jadoonanan; and her parents, Jadoo Nanan and Ramdolari Nanan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paruna Narine, Mohini Chamhitt and Hematie Baker; her grandchildren, Nicholas Chamhitt, Michael Chamhitt, Shanna Chamhitt and Devin Narine; her sons-in-law, Krishna Chamhitt, Arthur Baker and Daren Narine; and her siblings, Sieunarine Nanan and Hanumati Singh.
