It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence Kirkman of Ocoee, Florida, born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Byrnes and Margaret Byrnes (Haughey); and her husband Gerald "Kirk" Kirkman. She is survived by: her children, Michael A. J. Britt and Myrtle B. Parnell; her stepchildren, Candy, Sandy and Lewis; her grandchildren, Rebecca Britt (Jesse), Jessica Viera (Marco), Amanda Britt (Chris), Andrew Britt (Sarah), Tiffany Steenhoven (Joe) and Ronny; her great grandchildren, Nathan Dupree, Madison Viera, Nevaeh Townsend, Brittany Vazquez, Nicholas Dupree, Nevin Dupree, Kaden Champion, Jordan Moore, Emily Moore, Antony Viera, Joseph Steenhoven, Tyler Steenhoven, Kaylee Steenhoven, Delilah Steenhoven, Kinsley Hanna, Hank Haskell, Bonnie Copeland and Thomas Copeland; and her great great grandchildren, Leilani Dupree and Carter Dupree.
