With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nevajoyce Eloise Underwood Heilman of Ocklawaha, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Foy N. Underwood and Bruniese Underwood. She is survived by: her husband Richard Heilman of Ocklawaha, FL; her daughter Amber Heilman of Ocala; her granddaughters, Cloey and Kinley of Ocala; and her siblings, Roy Underwood (Linda), Lenojo Carter (Don), Nenajoy King (John) of Grand Junction, CO, Benachoice Caruthers (Tom) of Wildwood, FL and Toy Underwood (Tori) of Pedro, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Church of Hope (3233 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, FL 34471).
