He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley J. "Bud" Heichel and T. June Heichel (Carey); his significant other Anona Blackwell; his children, Ty Alan Heichel, Ann Marie Heichel and Tammy Louise Zemaitis; and his sister Cindy Krisinger.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Jeffery (Chris) of Dahlonega Georgia, Chris Heichel (Peggy) of Mansfield Pennsylvania, Harley "Bull" Heichel, Bruce Heichel (Heather), Alan "Choppy" Heichel and Curtis "Speedy" Blackwell of Ocklawaha, Florida.; and his sister Norma Smith (Randy) of Jonestown. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
