He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Rose Elkins and Fred Elkins; and his siblings, Carrie Minton, Fred Elkins and Sue Gingise.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Cochran Elkins; his children, Rick (Rita), Rod (Odayls) and Tammi (Scott); and his friends, Ed, Darlene and Barbara. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren.
