She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Bradley Purvis and Ernestine Barnhill Purvis; her husband Clyde Hendrix; her son Herbert Clyde Hendrix; and her siblings, Helen Hiers, Jean Rowell, Carolyn Day and Faye McCray.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda McDonald (Ken) of Ocala, FL; her daughter-in-law Sara Hendrix of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Stephen McDonald of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Scott McDonald of Carrollton, GA, Robert Hendrix of North Carolina and Jennifer Cisneros (Richard) of Houston, TX; her great grandchildren, Kaleb (Jena), Finley, Noah, Ashley, Savannah, Avery and Katerina; her great great grandchild Jaxson; and her sisters, Betty Dees of Douglas and Christine Harper of Baxley. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
