With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Howard Wilson Jr. (Ocala, Florida), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Howard Wilson Sr. and Elizabeth Martin Wilson; his sisters, Nancy Martin, Juanita Bernard and Judy Fernandez; his brother-in-law Johnnie Bernard Jr.; and his children-in-law, Demond Hull and Tracey Byrd.
He is survived by: his children, Latrenia Wilson, Gaycha Robinson, Tomeka Hull, Timothy Byrd Sr. (Michelle), John Spearman and Roger Murphy; his siblings, Rosena Miller (Aaron) and Douglas Copeland (Ann); his siblings-in-law, William "Bill" Dawkins and Carolyn Bernard; his close friends, Sharon Robinson, Lulamae Spearman and Kim Reynolds; and his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Graham, Terri Williams, Stephanie Walker, Gwendolyn Green, Shameeka Osbourne, Aysia King, Taniya Williams, Kyndal Walker, Lemuel Walker Jr., Lemuel Q. Walker, Lemuel Walker III, Frank Green, Derrick Williams and DeSean Jenkins. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Summers Funeral Home Chapel (2238 NW 10th St, Ocala, FL 34475). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope New Beginnings Church (17401 North Hwy 301, Citra, FL 32113).
