He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Butler and Rachel Butler (Bessie); his brothers, George and Benjamin Butler; and his grandmother Carrie Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Ollie Butler; and his daughter Peggy S. Butler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sellers Funeral Home, Inc. (440 SW Broadway St, Ocala, FL 34475). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church (3280 W Hwy 329, Reddick, FL 32686).
