With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth A. Pyers of Ocala, Florida, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ruth has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira C. Boyer and Miriam O. Boyer (Benfer); her husband Calvin W. Pyers; and her siblings, Elmer Boyer, Esther Aucker and Faye Hassinger.
She is survived by: her children, Randal Pyers of Ocala, FL, Geraldine Pyers of Lewisburg and Lon Pyers of Lewisburg. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home (106 S 2nd St, Lewisburg, PA 17837). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
