Ronald Matthews Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Matthews of Ocala, Florida, born in Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Woodrow and Louise Matthews; his brother-in-law Norman Adams; and his pets, Buddy and Weiser.
He is survived by: his wife Luanne; his daughter Romi Lessig (Todd) of Austin, TX; his grandsons, Matthew Lessig of Austin, TX and Luke Lessig of Dallas, TX; his stepgrandson Matthew Buckman of Ocala; his sister Linda Adams of Floral City, FL; and his stepdaughters, Ronde Clevinger (Sidney) and Gina Feranchek (Tony). He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and grand dogs.
Due to Covid concerns, a celebration of life for Ronald will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Ocala Lions Club in Memory of Ronald Matthews.
