He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Niswonger and Juanita Criddle Niswonger of Jackson; and his father-in-law Clarence. He is survived by: his wife Julie Niswonger of Ocala; his sons, David Niswonger (Iris) of Crestview, Florida, Geoffrey Niswonger (Mira) of Gainesville, Virginia and Jared Niswonger (Jamie) of Ocala, Florida; his pets, Sophie, Dexter and Cooper; his brothers, Lynn Niswonger (Janie) of Ocala and Don Niswonger (Judy) of Jackson; and his mother-in-law Ellen Andrews of Zanesville, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
Due to Covid concerns, at a later date, the family will honor him with a private service and military rites.
