With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Lee Bennett of Ocala, Florida, born in Linton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bennett and Bernadine Bennett; and his brothers, Tom, Ron and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, Mark, John and Preston; his sister Judi; his nieces, Sherry, Lisa and Ingrid; his nephew Landon; and his grandchildren, Lindsay, Becky, Ashley, Amanda, Brooke Josh, Elizabeth and Victoria.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ocala West Chapel (6241 SW State Rd 200, Ocala, FL 34476). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
