It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Lee Teaster of Ocala, Florida, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on May 1, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Teaster and Mildred Teaster (Harvey); his stepmother Jean Teaster (McNutt); his sisters, Charlotte Brooks (Teaster) and Frances Dorrycott (Teaster); and his stepbrother Don McNutt.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Teaster (Williams) of Ocala; his children, Tammy Jo Teaster of Kansas, Jennifer Rose Hadley (Teaster) of Kansas and Joseph Samuel Lee Teaster of California; his stepchildren, Brooke Allison Farrington (Keys) of California and Dr. Bradley Ryan Keys of St; and his stepgrandchildren, Ashlee Crosby-Teaster, Peyton Siegmann, Ayla Farrington, Joey Teaster, Jamison Hadley, Lily Farrington, Paige Hadley and Tiberius Keys.

Memorials may be made to the VFW.
