He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest O. Gibbons and Agnes L. Gibbons (Smith); and his sister Ellen Jodison. He is survived by: his wife Lois Kathleen (Simpson); his daughters, Holly Weigold and Stephanie Krug (Michael); his grandchildren, Erick, Leighandra, Naomi and Trevor; his sister Mary Elizabeth Kirchue; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Tymosiak (Simpson). He is also survived by four nieces and a nephew.
