With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leroy Hilbert (Ocala, Florida), born in White Oak, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Mae Hilbert and Bay Hilbert; his grandchildren, La'ShanequaMonique Cooper, ChimeshiaSha'Quavia Thomas and Ja'Quard Kyree Cuyler; his great grandchildren, JaNiyla Douglas, Ja'KiylaDouglas, Ja'Ziyah Cuyler, Harnajah K. Carrie, Llyveah M. Lawson, Kyree Ja'Quard Carrie, Anthany N. Brown Jr. and Harnilya P. Carrie; and his brother Johnny Hilbert Sr. (Estella Hilbert).
He is survived by: his daughter Molly Charmaine Huff (late Frank Huff); and his brothers, Willie Hilbert and Oscar Kimble Sr. (Gloria Kimble). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and mourning friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Snow's Funeral Ministry (5791 SE 23rd Ln, Ocala, FL 34480). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 13595 SE 167 Ln, Weirsdale, FL 32195.
