She is survived by: her father Johnie Early; her daughter CherRon Salemma (Michael); her siblings, Lamont Self, Norris Self and Lori Dunn; her nephews, Darryl Dunn, Cody Self and Shay Self; her niece Dana Dunn; and her great-nieces, Marli Dunn and Elizabeth Dunn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in LaVon's name to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or Blessed Trinity Catholic School.
