He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Mojica and Felicita Mojica; and his daughter Maribel Mojica. He is survived by: his wife Maribel; his children, Elsie Mojica, Jose R. Mojica, Sr., Sonia Mojica and Jacqueline Mojica; his grandchildren, Angel Luis Rodriguez, Fernando Gonsalez, Yamil O'Neil Figueroa, C'Nyah M. Dempsey, Rebeca Alicea, Ciomara Alicea and Jose Mojica; and his siblings, Carmen Mojica and Marta Acevedo. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 14411 SW 32nd Terrace Road, Ocala, FL 34473.
