He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo Corea and Mercedes Hernandez Corea; and his brothers, Guillermo, Carlos, Javier and Alberto Corea.

He is survived by: his wife Angela Corea; his children, Jose, Steve Corea and Carol Corea; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jasenia, Kayla, Jasmine, Anthony, Michael, Gabriel and Jovanni; and his siblings, Rosa Talavera, Tania Velez, Rosa Maria Trabanino, Josefina Astacio and Roberto Corea.
